FAQ
1. Can I exchange my garment if it’s the wrong size?
Yes. If you ordered the wrong size (e.g., Small but need Medium), we can exchange it for the same style and color. Please notify us within 7 days of receipt at support@latexvibe.com.
You must return the original garment to us. The customer pays all shipping costs (both to us and back to you). We strongly recommend Registered / Signed-For delivery. We cannot exchange if the parcel is lost in transit. We do not exchange or refund because of a change of mind about style or color.
2. Can I change my order after I’ve placed it?
Yes—order changes can be made within 2 days after placing the order. After production starts, we can’t make further changes.
3. Can I add to an existing order?
No. Once an order has been processed, we can’t add items to it. Please place another order and contact us to discuss shipping options; we may be able to optimize shipping costs.
4. What is your return & exchange policy for custom and standard orders?
Custom-made (Made-to-Measure) products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable under any circumstances, as they are made specifically to your measurements.
Standard size orders can be exchanged for a different size of the same style and color. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs (both to us and back to you).
5. How can I be sure latex garments are going to fit me?
We make standard sizes from XS–XXL. Check our size chart for measurement guidance. If unsure, email us at support@latexvibe.com.
We also offer Made-to-Measure for unique proportions, posture, and body shapes. Learn more here.
6. How long will an exchange take and does it cost me anything?
For Made-to-Order items, we remake the garment; this usually takes up to 30 days (longer during peak periods). You pay only the postage to and from us.
7. Is there any way you can make my order more quickly?
All garments are handcrafted when ordered. If you need faster production, email us to discuss availability. An expedited fee may apply (not always available during very busy times).
8. What is Latex Allergy?
Latex garments are made from Natural Rubber Latex (NRL), found in many everyday products (e.g., balloons, gloves, elastic). Proteins in NRL can cause allergic reactions for some people.
We use highly leached latex to reduce proteins to legally acceptable levels, but it’s your responsibility to ensure you’re not allergic. If in doubt, consult a medical professional for an allergy test before purchasing or wearing latex.
9. How long do I have to wait for my order?
Production usually takes 1–2 weeks for standard sizes; during busy sale periods it may take 2–4 weeks. If you need it faster, email us—expedited service may be available for a fee.
10. Do you have a guarantee policy for my order?
Yes. We follow strict QC and production standards. Every item is carefully inspected before dispatch. Our guarantee is valid for 10 days from receipt.
Other FAQs About Latex Care
1. How do I make my latex clothes shine beautifully?
Use silicone oil or Vivishine for deep, even gloss. Apply with a damp sponge for uniform coverage.
CAUTION: Don’t use typical microfibre cloths—they can scuff the surface. AMOR ALL pump spray is a classic option and can also be used in the fabric-softener cycle for machine washing (if you machine-wash, which we generally don’t recommend).
2. Can I wear latex under normal clothing?
We don’t recommend it. Friction points (knees, elbows) may turn matte and won’t regain permanent shine. Repeated stress also makes the material more prone to stretching.
3. How do plastics behave with plasticizers and latex?
Some plastics contain plasticizers that degrade latex. Keep latex away from silicone toys and other soft plastics for prolonged periods.
4. How long does my clothing last with proper latex care?
With dark storage, zero oils, and after-wear washing, latex can last many years. Lifespan also depends on frequency of wear and stress exposure.
5. What lubes & powders should I use?
We recommend Vivishine Dress or a non-scented baby powder. Coat skin (or the garment’s interior), shake off excess powder, and avoid pulling hard on seams. If it’s hard to put on, use more lube or powder.
6. Any precautions?
- Avoid sharp objects, long nails, and people stretching latex to “hear it snap”.
- Copper stains latex permanently.
- Never use oils with latex—use water-based products only.
- Don’t store in sunlight; chalking or whitening may occur (light silicone can help mask).
7. How to prevent tears and how to repair?
If a seam splits, we recommend sending it back to us for professional repair (covered under warranty for LatexVibe seams). DIY patch kits can work in a pinch but won’t look perfect. Tears from misuse are not manufacturing defects.
